About Kirsten
My Story
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba I began my career in massage therapy in Canada. Upon moving to Maryland I have had many experiences in the profession. I taught and then became the Education Director at the Baltimore School of Massage. I left the school world to concentrate on practicing more hands on and now currently serve on the Board of Massage Therapy Examiners of Maryland as the Secretary/Treasurer alongside operating my clinic.
I practice many different modalities although I am known more for Deep Tissue, Prenatal and TMJD Massage.
I am a mother of three, two boys and one girl, and have been married to my best friend since 2008.
My pronouns are She/Her.
My Philosophy
My Training
Massage Therapy has been entwined in my world ever since I was a little girl. My role as a massage therapist is to help empower each client in understanding what is happening with their body.
While I am known for Deep Tissue work I also work with new parents to instruct infant massage, children, immunocompromised individuals, post op rehabilitation, neuralgia, fibromyalgia and other conditions which require me to adjust pressure and treatment style.
Survivors of trauma and/or assault may require some additional support leading up to, during and after the massage appointment. I can help navigate this delicate situation and triggers that may arise.

I walked in with significant jaw pain, hoping for some relief and left feeling like a million bucks. Most of my jaw pain was gone! Kirsten explained the anatomy of neck/jaw/back and how her techniques would help alleviate my pain and then got to work. I cannot thank Kirsten enough for the relief she brought me! -Lori
